Hanukkah/Christmas 2001

We didn't have a Hanukkah Party this year - just Marc and me quietly celebrating. My latkes, of course, were terrible as usual.

We just looked at them on the plate - it gave us that special "holiday" feeling just seeing them.

I threw them away 2 days later.

Our Christmas pictures for 2001.

The only person who ate well that day was "Littleboy" - he got some yummy 9-Lives in a can!!

My ham was burnt (1st one I ever made in my life), the turkey was bone dry, the stuffing was mushy, and the embarrassing list continues.

At least for this holiday, I didn't dump the sauerkraut all over the rug!!

I have made improvements! (Dad must be so proud of me!!)

Great picture of Dad & Suzanne!

Lee with the two scariest men
on the face of the Earth -
Tom & John!

Don't let their smiling faces fool ya ...
these guys are not to be messed with!!!!

I had so much fun with everyone - telling stupid stories about each other!

I loved getting the story in about how Tommy used to practice his "arresting" techniques on me when I was a kid.

Of course, with this crew there had to be discussion on GOLF.

THE LADIES OF THE FAMILY:
Suzanne, Gloria, Lee

Patrica Leonard-Khan (God Bless her!) saved the day!!

She made a dessert that was AMAZING!!

If it hadn't have been for her great homemade-from-scratch-dessert, we may have all starved to death! Within 24 hours, it was completely devoured! (We also scarfed down Gloria's wonderful pumpkin roll as well!!)

Having the Khan family there made the day extra-special for me!

They're two of my most favorite people in the whole world.

Would it be a family gathering unless the conversation turned to:

golf clubs (places where people wack little round balls around pretty manicured grounds),

golf clubs (silly stick instruments used to wack little round balls all over God's green creation), and

golf clubs (groups of people who regularly get together and wack little round balls with silly stick instruments)???????

Get my point ....???

Actually I, too, love golf and will be joining everyone this spring. There's no way, though, you are going to get me outside until it's at least 75 degrees! People who play golf in 25 degree weather are insane - just insane and should seek medical help immediately.

You know the types, they have "fluorescent orange" golf balls - so they can find them in the snow!!

Wackadoos!
